Plant Service Technician

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plant Service Technician to join a well-established and growing engineering team. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of plant and construction equipment, with ongoing manufacturer training and career development opportunities available.Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of plant machinery and associated equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of plant and construction machinery.Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment and software.Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, including warranty, customer, and internal work.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.Attend breakdowns and provide effective on-site support when required.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues regarding repairs and technical issues.Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience working on plant machinery, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs, commercial vehicles, or related heavy equipment.Strong ..... full job details .....
