Plant Operator - above 5t

Red Sky Personnel are recruiting an experienced Plant Operator – Excavator (above 5 tonne) for airside groundworks at Heathrow Airport.

The Role

• Operating excavator plant (360°/tracked) to carry out groundworks, trenching, drainage and deep excavation work across an operational airside environment.
• Working safely and efficiently within a live, highly regulated airport site, following all airside rules and permit-to-work procedures.
• Coordinating with the wider site team, banksman and site management to maintain programme and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven excavator operating experience on civils/groundworks projects.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Excavator 360° or relevant category).
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Able to provide a full, continuous 5-year checkable reference/employment history with no unexplained gaps, in order to pass Heathrow’s airside security vetting and obtain an airside pass.
• Willing to undergo the Heathrow airside ID vetting, induction and driving assessment process.

Pay & Contract

• PAYE, paid at CIJC (Construction Industry Joint Council) rates.
• 6 months initial contract with longer term work available
