Job Description:
Orbital Recruitment are recruiting Plant Operatives to join a busy manufacturing facility in the Derby area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an industrial environment with automatic welding machines, assisting with the finishing of small flanges and minor weld defects. The role may also include spray painting of pipes and components as part of the production process.

Key Responsibilities
- Support automated welding machines and associated equipment
- Load and unload components
- Assist with basic machine operation and monitoring
- Inspect small components and report defects
- Carry out spray painting of pipes and parts as required
- Maintain health & safety standards
- General plant and production duties
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or welding environments preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable in an industrial setting
- Team player with a good work ethic
- FLT license (desirable)
- Flexible to work shifts
- MIG and TIG experience (desirable)
Pay & Benefits
- £13.45 per hour – Days 7:00am - 3:00pm
- £15.38 per hour – Afternoons 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Overtime: x1.5 Weekdays & Saturdays | x2 Sundays
