As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Plant Operations Manager to complement their established and professional team at their Crawley chemical manufacturing facility.Responsibilities

Guide and develop a forward-thinking site production team to ensure activities run efficiently and safely, meeting customer needs while safeguarding the site’s infrastructure, security, assets and emergency systems, and minimising downtime.Oversee daily cylinder filling and handling operations to ensure the site operates efficiently, safely, and sustainably, building positive partnerships and achieving objectives, and champion safety and quality at all times by inspiring high standards in SHEQ leadership, leading safety committees and audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance while embedding best practices throughout the facility.Oversee all aspects of daily production and maintenance, manage resources and budgets to achieve and exceed targets, and maintain the highest safety and compliance standards.Act as a champion of continuous improvement by innovating and improving processes and productivity, and by inspiring and empowering team members to achieve the same.Qualifications

Qualified to at least HND level or above in a relevant engineering discipline (NEBOSH certification proving distinctly advantageous).Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels to develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships.Highly safety conscious with a strong working knowledge of Health and Safety practices and ISO standards to ensure safety, consistency and compliance in all areas of the facility.Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach in an often-pressurised environment.Location and Contact
