Plant Mechanic / Fitter

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plant Mechanic/Fitter to join our team in Oldham. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Provide support to the wider team when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Plant Mechanic/Fitter.
• Good knowledge of plant machinery, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and own car (required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
