Plant Manager

Role Overview This companies employs circa 500 people across their facilities in the North West and their customer base includes UK and European retailers and global consumer brands. Sustainability is a very live and key component of the business s strategy. This approach to sustainability extends to all areas of its business. The site is a world-class, purpose built facility, with automation throughout its process. Currently, the site employs circa 235 colleagues and manufactures off 6 production lines on a 24/7 basis. The business constantly strives to support and empower employees, 50% of the team have over 5 years service with circa 30% having more than 10 years with the company. Plant Manager Role The Plant Manager will be responsible for all elements of the Factory performance, including production, maintenance, mixing and quality/hygiene standards. This role is a senior leadership position. The structure of the team is one of a matrix with manufacturing, mixing, maintenance and HandS reporting directly into this role, with support functions (planning and supply chain, Quality, HR) being on a dotted line basis. Working with cross business stakeholders, you will be responsible for determining and delivering the plans to ensure the factory achieves its objectives and deliverables.
