Logistics Manager – Plant Hire
Location: Bridgnorth
Salary: Up to £47,500 (DOE)
We are working with a well-established plant hire business in Bridgnorth who are seeking a Logistics Manager to take ownership of their busy operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills to step into a leadership role within a growing company.
The RoleAs Logistics Manager, you will oversee the daily transport and logistics operations, ensuring the smooth delivery and collection of plant hire equipment. You’ll be responsible for managing a small team (2 direct reports), scheduling movements, and ensuring all compliance and customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the daily logistics and transport operations.

Lead and support a small team, ensuring clear communication and effective workload management.

Liaise with clients to provide excellent service and resolve any issues quickly.

Ensure compliance with all relevant transport and health & safety regulations.

Work closely with other departments to ensure plant hire operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Strong communicator with the ability to lead and manage a small team.

Ideally experienced within the plant hire industry (or similar hire/logistics environment).

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Good knowledge of transport/logistics processes and compliance requirements.

Salary up to £47500 (depending on experience).
