We are recruiting a Plant Fitter/ Service Engineer with our client who are a leading plant hire company based in Cookstown Suitable candidates will need mechanical experience on plant machinery, such as access equipment, forklifts, diggers etc. Both workshop and field service options are available Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5pm and Friday 7.30am - 4pm with Saturdays on a rota paid at overtime 1.5 rates The Role: Conduct maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and powered access machinery Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our company Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history Utilise strong mechanical skills to ensure precision and reliability in all aspects of the job Demonstrate a keen attention to detail in maintaining the quality and performance of equipment Work seamlessly as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentWhat you''ll need: Previous experience in the repair of plant and equipment Good all-round mechanical skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail Knowledge of machine electrics and hydraulics Interested?
