The successful candidate will work within an established engineering team, maintaining and repairing a large fleet of over 100 heavy machines.The company currently has a strong team of fitters on its books and is looking to expand the team due to continued fleet growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plant fitter to join a busy operation, working on a wide range of heavy machinery, including equipment weighing up to 50 tonnes.Candidates with strong practical experience in heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery or similar mechanical engineering backgrounds would be well suited to this position.Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery Working on 360 excavators, dumpers and diggers Carrying out maintenance and repairs to demolition equipment Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults Conducting planned preventative maintenance Carrying out reactive breakdown repairs Working on machinery weighing up to 50 tonnes Ensuring all equipment is safe, reliable and operational Maintaining and ..... full job details .....
