      <description>Location: Windsor | Salary: &amp;pound;40000/annum | Type: Permanent | PLANT FITTER    Salary: Up to -40,000 per annum    Hours: 40 hours per week   We are currently recruiting for an experienced  Plant Fitter  to join an established and busy team. This is a varied role working across a fleet of heavy plant, agricultural machinery and associated equipment, with responsibility for keeping machinery maintained, serviced and ready for hire.   The Role    Maintain a fleet of screeners and crushers, including carrying out screen changes and preparing machines for hire.  Induct customers on machinery and ensure they are familiar with the correct operation of equipment when required.  Service and maintain a fleet of 3-20 tonne excavators in line with manufacturers'' recommendations.  Service and maintain a range of agricultural machinery and trailed appliances.  Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding and repairs.  Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.  Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and pre-hire inspections.  Monitor parts stock and advise the manager when replacement parts are required.
