We invest in people, technology and innovation to build the workforce of the future. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Mobile Fitter/Mechanic to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will travel to customer and site locations to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of plant and heavy equipment. This role requires practical mechanical skills, a strong commitment to safety and the flexibility to work across different sites and conditions. Key Responsibilities Carry out mobile repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on plant, machinery and attachments at customer or site locations. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using inspection and testing equipment. Complete fault reports, service records and necessary paperwork accurately and on time. Work independently to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively while maintaining communication with the depot. Ensure safe use of tools, equipment and lifting gear; adhere to company health and safety and compliance procedures. Fit replacement parts and ensure quality of repairs, including on-site welding, hydraulic hose assembly and component replacement where required. Support transport colleagues with pre-delivery inspections and breakdown recovery as required. ..... full job details .....
