Mobile Plant Fitter (Regional)Location: EssexSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pmWe are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established engineering team supporting a broad range of plant and machinery.This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced engineer who can independently diagnose faults, carry out repairs and keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.The RoleDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.Carry out routine servicing, inspections and testing.Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.Attend customer and operational sites to diagnose and repair equipment.Use computerised diagnostic equipment to identify faults.Complete accurate service records, job sheets and supporting documentation.Manage repairs from initial diagnosis through to completion.Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.EquipmentThe role will involve working on a varied range of mobile and site-based equipment, including:ExcavatorsDumpers and dump trucksCrushers and screenersWheeled loadersSkid-steer loadersCompaction equipmentGenerators and pumpsLifting equipmentHydraulic attachmentsHand tools and associated site equipmentAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Minimum 5 years'' experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar.Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.Experience using computerised diagnostic equipment.Excellent attention ..... full job details .....
