Salary for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer / HGV Fitter / Heavy Duty Fitter:     £43,000 - £50,000 pa Depending on Experience and Negotiable 

My client, a busy Plant Company, are looking for a Plant Fitter to join their team in either the Thirsk / Middlesbrough surrounding areas.  You will be carrying out service and maintenance on their fleet of Plant Equipment.

This is great role for someone with a mechanical, Auto Electrical or HGV background.

Duties for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer / HGV Fitter / Heavy Duty Fitter:

• Preventative Maintenance and scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
• Complete Pre Work Inspections.
• Troubleshooting any defects on the machines.
• Carry out all necessary repairs.
• Carry out installation, repairs and modifications of Safety related systems.

Requirements for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer / HGV Fitter / Heavy Duty Fitter:

• Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance , be a time served mechanical fitter or have a good knowledge and understanding of auto-electrics, engines, transmissions and hydraulics.
• Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative. 
• A good understanding of I.T.
• Applicants must have excellent organisation and communication skills with a good understanding of health and safety legislation. 
• The ability to work flexible hours.
