Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Plant Fitter to join their close-knit workshop team, working on a wide variety of specialist rail infrastructure equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, workshop-based role with regular overtime available, ongoing training and long-term career progression. The Role: Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Road Rail Vehicles (RRVs) and rail plant equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults Complete major overhaul, refurbishment and upgrade projects Work on safety-critical equipment including RCI (Rated Capacity Indicator) systems Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics Carry out fault finding using diagnostic equipment Support larger refurbishment projects alongside welders, machinists and electrical engineers Complete inspections and testing to ensure equipment meets required safety standards Maintain accurate service and repair records Ens...
