This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, workshop-based role with regular overtime available and long-term career prospects. Overview Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Road Rail Vehicles (RRVs) and rail plant equipment Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faults Complete major overhauls, refurbishments and upgrade projects Work on safety-critical equipment including RCI (Rated Capacity Indicator) systems Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics Carry out fault finding using diagnostic equipment where applicable Work alongside welders, machinists and electrical engineers on larger refurbishment projects Complete inspections and testing to ensure equipment meets required safety standards Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work i...
