A great stand-out in this role is the variety. You''ll split your time between a well-equipped workshop in Braintree and attending breakdowns across London and Essex, ensuring no two days are the same.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of heavy plant and construction equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Attend breakdowns at sites across London and Essex.
• Complete workshop-based repairs, inspections and component replacements.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar.
• Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on construction, demolition or heavy plant machinery.
• Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) are desirable.
