A great stand-out in this role is the variety of work on offer. The position is predominantly workshop-based, preparing and commissioning brand-new machinery, with occasional site work providing a great balance between workshop stability and field-based engineering.

Salary & Benefits

• -19.50 per hour
• Approx. -44,850 annual earnings (including contracted overtime)
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• 40 hours basic plus 2.5 hours paid at time and a half each week
• Company van provided for work purposes
• 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

The Role

• Carry out PDI inspections and preparation of new construction machinery.
• Service, maintain and repair a range of construction and heavy plant equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Attend customer sites when required for servicing and breakdown support.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards.

Requirements

• Experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, construction or agricultural machinery.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience carrying out PDI inspections would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
