Overtime is rarely required.We''re looking for a skilled Plant Fitter to join our team in Bedford, working between the workshop and our construction sites.This isn''t a role where you''ll be stuck doing the same repairs every day. You''ll work across a varied fleet of plant, machinery and small tools, carrying out everything from routine maintenance to major mechanical repairs.When our equipment is working on site, you''ll also head out to our construction sites to diagnose faults and get machinery back up and running as quickly as possible.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for:Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant and machineryDiagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faultsCarrying out major repairs on plantRepairing and maintaining small tools and equipmentAttending construction sites to carry out breakdown repairsCarrying out preventative maintenancePreparing and maintaining machinery to keep downtime to a minimumWorking both independently and as part of the wider engineering teamWhat we''re looking forWe''re interested in speaking to experienced:Plant Fitters Heavy Plant Fitters Mobile Plant Engineers Plant Engineers Agricultural Engineers Agricultural Fitters Mechanical FittersYou''ll ideally have:Previous experience repairing and maintaining plant, ..... full job details .....
