Plant Financial Controller

This Plant Financial Controller role is focused on leading the financial operations of a manufacturing site, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective business partnering across the operation. Client Details Large, complex and highly successful manufacturing business operating within a global group environment. Description Supporting the Plant Management Team with financial insight and contributing to strategic and operational decision-making. Leading the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts and monthly reporting activities, ensuring accurate financial performance tracking and robust action plans. Monitoring and analysing site profitability, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing detailed recommendations to improve financial and operational performance. Managing month-end close, reporting to the Business Unit, investment appraisals and return-on-investment analysis. Overseeing cost control activities, including productivity improvement initiatives, manufacturing cost analysis and cost price calculations. Taking ownership of inventory control processes alongside the Logistics team and supporting external audits. Ensuring strong financial governance, compliance and accounting controls across the site. Managing and developing the accounting team, including performance management, training and succession planning. Overseeing site IT systems and budgets, ensuring systems are maintained and optimised to support business operations. ..... full job details .....
