AR892 Plant EngineerLocation: CranleighSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Door-to-Door and OvertimeOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently supporting a client in the search for a Plant Engineer.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant repair and maintenance, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical problems. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and accurately. A welding qualification is preferred.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical problems on diesel powered plant and vehicles.Perform routine maintenance and servicing.Complete weld repairs.Test parts and systems to ensure they are working properly.Use diagnostic tools.Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to customers in a clear and concise manner.Keep records of work performed. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant experience and qualifications e.g., City and Guild, NVQ Level 3 qualifications or equivalent to or greater than.Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment.Good IT Skills.Knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the construction or agricultural ..... full job details .....
