Day-to-day of the role:Develop the seasonal plant category, aligning with business objectives to drive sales, manage stock holding, and uphold margins.Manage supplier relationships across the UK and Europe, including regular communication and site visits, negotiating to ensure value for money and high product quality.Plan and manage delivery schedules compliant with plant import regulations and domestic requirements, securing sufficient stock volumes while minimizing category wastage.React to seasonal demands, identify risks, and find solutions to maintain availability and sales throughout the year.Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activity, and product innovation, regularly analysing sales and suggesting improvements to the range.Create and develop promotional plans across the yearly calendar in collaboration with our Social and Marketing teams.Support the Gardens Buyer with ongoing ..... full job details .....
