About The JobAs a Plant Area Expert, you''ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the plant department. This is a hands-on role where you''ll spend most of your time outdoors or working in greenhouses and polytunnels, caring for plants, maintaining eye-catching displays, and ensuring customers receive knowledgeable and friendly advice. You''ll take responsibility for specific plant areas, assist with deliveries and stock movements, support customer orders, and help keep the department looking its best. The Ideal PersonThe ideal candidate will have a good understanding of plants and horticulture, gained through previous experience in a garden centre, plant retail, nursery, or similar environment.
