Plant and Boiler Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of medical instrument reprocessing and maintenance services, delivering both on-site and off-site solutions to healthcare providers. To support the continued operation of their specialist sterile services facility, they are seeking a Plant and Boiler Engineer to join their team in Chessington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive fault finding, and plant equipment maintenance within a highly regulated environment. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all site equipment and building services. Working within a static site environment, you will carry out both scheduled and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and support critical healthcare operations. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all plant, machinery, and site services in accordance with the maintenance schedule. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform fault diagnosis and repairs to minimise operational disruption. Maintain and repair specialist processing equipment including sterilisers, washers, and associated plant systems. Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment remains compliant with industry and healthcare standards.
