Planning Technician

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Lewisham Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6-months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Planning Technician (Complaints, FOI & Finance) this role will be based at: SE6 4RU

The right candidate will:

• Retrieving physical planning files, plans and documents from office storage and basement archives;
• Scanning documents and checking that copies are complete, clear and correctly recorded;
• Inputting information accurately into spreadsheets and other records;
• Organising and tracking documents so they can be located and used by the service;
• Following agreed processes for handling planning records and confidential information;
• Working independently on assigned tasks while also supporting the wider team.

We require the following:

• FOI experience
• Complaints Handling
