Planning Officer

The role is:

To lead and supervise a team of planning officers dealing with Development Management matters including the processing of complex major planning applications and to contribute to the efficient and effective performance of the section. - -

To act as lead officer at Planning Committee-

To manage and process major and complex planning applications, enquiries and appeals and to work to deadlines.

To vet applications to ensure that they meet minimum statutory requirements and to allocate applications to officers accordingly
