Planning Manager

Position: Planning Manager Location: Hyde or Preston with hybrid working available Salary: 80-90k (Neg DOE), bonus, car/allowance and excellent benefits package Our Client: Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,400 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances. The Role: Our client is looking to strengthen their Planning team with a Planning Manager for their east Manchester projects and other United Utility projects. You will provide services to ensure that project plans have achievable timescales and are accurately monitored and updated.Directly reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, your responsibility is to assist other members of the project teams to develop, monitor, progress and report on tender and contractual programmes. This includes ensuring that both the operational and commercial members of the team are fully always briefed on the critical activities and risks of their projects.You will be required to work closely with the commercial department to monitor costs, take ownership of several project plans, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation.
