Title: Planning ManagerLocation: Derby (hybrid)Salary: up to circa 110,000 + car allowance + packageAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Manager to join one of the UK''s leading main contractors on a major construction project based in Derby.This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established and highly experienced project team, playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a complex, high-profile scheme that offers long-term secured work and excellent career prospects.The RoleAs Planning Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing the planning function on a major construction project, ensuring robust programme management throughout the project lifecycle.Working closely with the project delivery team, you will develop, manage and monitor detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6, providing accurate progress reporting, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting key project decisions to ensure successful delivery.This is a hybrid position, with approximately three days per week on site in Derby and the remainder working remotely, offering an excellent balance between site collaboration and flexible working.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and programming activities for a major construction project.Develop, maintain and manage detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.Monitor progress against programme, identifying potential delays and implementing mitigation strategies.Produce regular progress ..... full job details .....
