Planning Engineer

Are you confident creating detailed manufacturing routings, route cards and work instructions within a fast-paced NPI environment?If so, a global leader in the Aerospace sector is looking to appoint a Planning Engineer to support the industrialisation of new machining and assembly packages from quotation through to manufacture and inspection.Planning EngineerInside IR35 contract3 month initial durationASAP StartDerbyPlanning EngineerJob Description:Supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) of Airbus machining and assembly packages, ensuring Lean manufacturing techniques are utilised where possible.Planning methods of manufacture and creating detailed route cards and work instructions for new machined, fabricated and assembled detail parts.Planning lower-level details through to the manufacture and assembly of large top-level parts, with a strong understanding of customer schedules and BOMs.Supporting all departments with engineering planning and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.Creating rework schemes and detailed planning for non-conforming products.Planning EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/QualificationsExperience working with Airbus specifications and processors.Knowledge of machining, forming and assembly processes to enable detailed manufacturing routings to be created.Proven experience of planning and creating route cards ..... full job details .....
