Do you have experience planning processes and writing methods of manufacture within an Engineering environment?If so, then please read on.The basics:Role: Planning Engineer / Manufacturing EngineerIndustry: Precision EngineeringLocation: Near RipleySalary: Up to 52,000 DOEHours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)Contracted hours: 40 per weekHolidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.Overview:We now require an additional Planning Engineer to join the team. Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture precision engineered components.You will be working in a first-class precision engineering environment that have processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of out sourced processes also.As the Planning Engineer you will be working in a technical role - writing methods of manufacture, work instructions, planning and owning the part through the shop floor process that consist of precision machining and fabrication. This is a technical role, not hands on, where you will need a strong mechanical engineering understanding so that you can plan the processes required in this high precision environment.The ideal candidate / Planning Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually.
