Planning Engineer

JRS Associates have partnered up with a leading aerospace engineering company in Pinxton to recruit a Planning Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision manufacturer, offering stability, career development, and an early Friday finish.

The Successful Planning Engineer - Package:

• £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Day shifts – Monday to Thursday 08:00–1730, Friday 08:00–14:00

• Early Friday finish every week

• Long-term career stability within the aerospace industry

The Successful Planning Engineer - Requirements:

• Proven background in CNC machining / programming

• Experience with estimating and quoting precision-engineered components

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements

• Strong communication skills for liaising with production and customers

• Aerospace industry experience preferred but not essential

The Successful Planning Engineer - Duties will include:

• Planning and preparing work orders for the machine shop

• Producing accurate cost estimates and quotations

• Supporting CNC programming when required

• Liaising with production teams to ensure smooth workflow

• Contributing to continuous improvement within planning and estimating functions
