Planning Enforcement Lawyer

Our client, based in Ipswich, is currently recruiting for a Planning Enforcement Lawyer on a 6-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Handling a variety of enforcement matters, including enforcement notice breaches, breach of condition notices/planning enforcement notices, planning injunctions and community infrastructure levy recovery Working alongside the Senior Lawyer, assisting them to get through the backlog of planning enforcements matters Some advocacy required, potentially once per week from the start of the contract Skills and Experience required: Experience with advocacy Experience working with customers within local government Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working Flexible working days Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
