Associate Town PlannerLocation: Cardiff Salary: 55,000- 65,000 Type: Permanent, full-timeThe OpportunityA leading, employee-owned planning, design and environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Town Planner to join its growing planning team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on strategic land promotion, residential-led development, planning consents and complex planning projects.You will play a key role in delivering planning strategies, managing projects and developing strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the wider growth and development of the planning team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning strategies for strategic site promotion, allocations and planning applications.Provide planning advice across a range of development sectors, particularly residential-led schemes.Manage complex and multi-phase planning applications, including outline, detailed and reserved matters applications.Undertake site appraisals, feasibility assessments and planning risk reviews.Advise clients on planning policy, case law and regulatory changes.Support and contribute to planning appeals, Local Plan examinations and strategic plan-making.Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and manage project programmes and budgets.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and ..... full job details .....
