Our client, an established environmental and planning consultancy is urgently looking to appoint a Planning Consultant to join their team in Chester. The company hold an excellent reputation in the market and work on a wide variety of projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrable planning experience
• Chartered status with the RTPI or will be working towards this
• Previous project management experience
• Extensive experience in the coordination of EIA''s
• A proven ability to write professional reports

Within the role the successful Planning Consultant will be:

• Coordinating planning applications for a range of client projects within the renewables sector including solar, wind energy storage and hydro developments
• Coordinating EIA projects
• Managing projects and sub-consultants
• Developing new business opportunities and preparing tenders
• Liaising with clients
