Job Title: Construction Planner - Civil InfrastructureLocation: East Midlands, UKJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Construction Planner to join a leading Tier 1 Principal Contractor. You will be playing a critical role in the delivery of a major, high-profile highway and regional infrastructure upgrade project.The successful candidate will take ownership of the project schedule, ensuring that all planning, sequencing, and resource allocation are optimized for safe, efficient, and timely delivery. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and commercial departments to track progress, mitigate risks, and manage contractual obligations.Key Responsibilities:Schedule Development and Management: Create, maintain, and update robust baseline schedules and live project programmes from pre-construction through to final handover.Tracking and Reporting: Monitor site progress against the baseline, reporting on milestones, critical path variances, and providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.Linear and Spatial Planning: Apply linear scheduling techniques suitable for extensive infrastructure and roadworks to ensure seamless logistical sequencing.Resource and Cost Integration: Perform resource loading and leveling; integrate cost and schedule data to support Earned Value Management (EVM) and accurate forecasting.Risk and Delay Analysis: Identify potential schedule bottlenecks or risks early. ..... full job details .....
