      <description>Location: London | Salary: &amp;pound;32.68/hour | Type: Contract | Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Planner to join their team in the planning sector on a contract basis. This role involves handling a varied caseload of planning applications, including complex householders, prior approval, lawful development certificates, change of use, pre-application advice, and minor developments. You will also address related appeals at both delegated and committee levels.   Key Responsibilities:    Process a broad range of planning application proposals and provide high-quality pre-application advice, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal performance targets.  Communicate effectively with the public, Councillors, stakeholders, and agents.  Attend Planning Committee meetings and present your cases with support from a more senior member of staff, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
