      <description>Location: Port Glasgow | Salary: 500.00-500.00 Daily | Type: Contract | Our client, a prominent player in the marine industry, is currently seeking a skilled Planner to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting a commercial shipyard new build programme and plays a crucial part in planning, scheduling, and monitoring complex construction activities within the marine/shipbuilding sector.Key Responsibilities:Developing, maintaining, and updating integrated project schedules for new build vessel projectsCoordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate planning inputsTracking project progress, identifying risks, and providing mitigation strategiesProducing regular reports, including progress updates, critical path analysis, and earned value where applicableSupporting project controls and ensuring alignment with contractual requirementsJob Requirements:Proven experience as a Planner on large scale construction or similar projectsStrong working knowledge of NEC contractsExperience in new build environments is desirable, preferably constructionExperience in sectors such as construction, heavy infrastructure, or oil and gas will be considered, but build/construction project experience would be requ...</description>
