      <description>Location: London | Salary: 32.68-32.68 Hourly | Type: Contract | Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Planner to join their team in the planning sector on a contract basis. This role involves handling a varied caseload of planning applications, including complex householders, prior approval, lawful development certificates, change of use, pre-application advice, and minor developments. You will also address related appeals at both delegated and committee levels.Key Responsibilities:Process a broad range of planning application proposals and provide high-quality pre-application advice, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal performance targets.Communicate effectively with the public, Councillors, stakeholders, and agents.Attend Planning Committee meetings and present your cases with support from a more senior member of staff, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.Lead on smaller planning appeals, including those dealt with via fast-track or written representations.Maintain high standards of customer service and meet performance targets.Liaise with statutory and non-statutory consultees to support applications, enforcement cases, and appeal determinations.Interpret and apply relevant planning legislation and...</description>
