      <description>Location: Port Glasgow | Salary: &amp;pound;500 - &amp;pound;600/day | Type: Contract | Our client, a prominent player in the marine industry, is currently seeking a skilled Planner to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting a commercial shipyard new build programme and plays a crucial part in planning, scheduling, and monitoring complex construction activities within the marine/shipbuilding sector.   Key Responsibilities:    Developing, maintaining, and updating integrated project schedules for new build vessel projects  Coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate planning inputs  Tracking project progress, identifying risks, and providing mitigation strategies  Producing regular reports, including progress updates, critical path analysis, and earned value where applicable  Supporting project controls and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements    Job Requirements:    Proven experience as a Planner on large scale construction or similar projects  Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts  Experience in new build environments is desirable, preferably construction  Experience in sectors such as construction, heavy infrastructure, or oil &amp; gas will be considered, but build/construction proje...</description>
