Senior Project Planner - Primavera P6Location: Aldermaston, BerkshireContract: 12 months, with a strong possibility of extensionRate: £91.32 per hour Working Pattern: Full-time onsite, with a 9-day fortnight or alternative compressed working arrangement potentially negotiableSecurity Clearance: Active MOD Developed Vetting (DV) clearance required - confirmation pendingThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to support a major programme within a highly regulated, security-sensitive environment in Aldermaston.This role will focus on developing, maintaining and managing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accurate forecasting, effective baseline management and robust change control. You will work closely with internal project teams, external stakeholders and suppliers to maintain schedule integrity and provide clear, reliable reporting to senior stakeholders.The successful candidate will also play an important role in developing the wider planning community, sharing best practice and mentoring colleagues to ensure strong, sustainable planning capability.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule Development and PlanningDevelop and establish detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.Define the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure schedules align with organisational planning standards.Maintain schedule integrity and alignment with the overall programme timeline.Apply recognised planning methodologies and best practice throughout the ..... full job details .....
