Repairs PlannerLocation: TonbridgeContract: Temporary - 6 monthsRate: 17.93 per hour UmbrellaHours: Full-time, office basedThe RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy housing/property services team based in Tonbridge on an initial 6-month temporary contract.You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling repairs and maintenance works, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently to the appropriate operatives and completed within agreed timescales.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule responsive repairs and maintenance works.Allocate jobs to operatives and contractors based on location, skills and availability.Manage diaries and workloads to ensure appointments are met.Liaise with tenants, residents, operatives and contractors to arrange and confirm appointments.Monitor outstanding repairs and follow up on delayed or incomplete works.Deal with queries and resolve scheduling issues quickly and effectively.Update internal systems accurately with job and appointment information.Prioritise urgent and emergency repairs appropriately.Work closely with the wider repairs and housing teams to ensure a smooth service.Ensure all works are scheduled in line with relevant policies, procedures and service standards.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience working as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Maintenance Coordinator or similar.Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or property services.Strong ..... full job details .....
