Project Planner (P6)
Location: Warrington, UK
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8am - 5pm)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Planner with a strong background in Primavera P6 to join our team in Warrington. You''ll be part of a well-established national infrastructure business that has recently rebranded and is delivering some of the UK''s most important water and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Analyse project requirements and create detailed work breakdown structures.
- Identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture project requirements and agree timescales.
- Produce tender stage and live project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Conduct resource forecasting and optimisation to maximise project efficiency.
- Support budget development and cost estimation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years'' experience in project planning within pipelines, oil & gas, construction, or utilities.
- Strong knowledge of the NEC form of contract.
- Solid expertise in Primavera P6; MS Project experience also beneficial.
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex project schedules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of project methodologies, construction techniques, and resource allocation principles.
