Planner

Are you an organised, detail-driven professional with a background in manufacturing? We're hiring a Planner to join our trusted and well-established company in Crewe!

In this key role, you’ll take ownership of the production planning for the Gluing Department, helping ensure efficient workflows, maximum machine output, and on-time delivery of products. You’ll collaborate across departments and play a vital role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Planner Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain effective production plans for all gluing operations.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Customer Services, and the Transport team to ensure schedules align with business needs.
• Monitor production performance, communicate issues, and support timely resolutions.
• Ensure accurate job closures and daily production records.
• Provide shift communication updates and cover planning during holidays/absence.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping in line with company procedures and policies.
• Take on additional tasks suited to your skills as required by your Line Manager.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in production planning is a bonus however not essential!

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:15am – 4:30pm

Starting salary of £27,500 and after a 3-month qualifying probation period this will rise to £29,570
