Planner

We are working on behalf of a leading National M&E contractor who need a Planner/ Senior Planner to join them on a permanent basis in their Yorkshire office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, yet growing National company, turning over close to -500m. This is a secure role that offers long term security, the role would see you covering projects such as Education, Industrial, Custodial, Healthcare and Commercial with values ranging from -5m - -15m.

As a Planner you will:

* Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced to allow the successful completion of the project

* Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors

* Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress

* Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with best practices

* Work with project controls, critical path analysis, program controlling, checking resources and producing KPI dashboards.

Desirables:

* Asta or P6 qualifications/ experience
* Familiar with NEC & JCT contracts
* M&E experience is desired but not essential - there would be structured training and support from the wider operations team to guide you with M&E integrations
