Planner

We are working on behalf of a leading National MandE contractor who need a Planner/ Senior Planner to join them on a permanent basis in their North East office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, yet growing National company, turning over close to 500m. This is a secure role that offers long term security, the role would see you covering projects such as Education, Industrial, Custodial, Healthcare and Commercial with values ranging from 5m - 15m. As a Planner you will: Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced to allow the successful completion of the project Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with best practices Work with project controls, critical path analysis, program controlling, checking resources and producing KPI dashboards. Desirables: Asta or P6 qualifications/ experience Familiar with NEC and JCT contracts MandE experience is desired but not essential - there would be structured training and support from the wider operations team to guide you with MandE integrations This is an exciting opportunity to ..... full job details .....
