Planner - Civil Engineering

TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Planner with experience on civil engineering packages ranging from -20m to -100m plus on some of the most prestigious projects across the UK.

With the amount of secured work already secured for 2027 this will offer a long-term contract for the right person working across railway, highways and power.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the project programme and construction schedule.
• Monitor actual progress against planned progress and key milestones.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and planning updates.
• Identify delays, risks, and potential impacts on project completion.
• Prepare short-term look-ahead programmes and work plans.
• Coordinate activities between site teams, subcontractors, engineers, and management.
• Analyse critical path, float, and programme changes.
• Prepare recovery programmes and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support delay analysis, EOT claims, variations, and contractual submissions.
• Maintain accurate planning records and use software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject
