We''re looking for a Planned Works Senior Supervisor to join our Somerset Highways Term Service Contract team based in Glastonbury Depot. What will you be responsible for? As a Planned Works Senior Supervisor, you''ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of planned works and reactive maintenance activities across the Somerset highways network. Your day to day will include: Provide direct line management for highway operatives, including performance reviews, welfare, disciplinary matters, absence management, training, development and day-to-day supervision. Manage the day-to-day operation of the depot, ensuring high standards of housekeeping, security, stock control, maintenance and compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements Assisting with programming, management and delivery of highway maintenance works Daily allocation and supervision of works and resources to ensure compliance with the maintenance requirement plan Undertaking site inductions, briefings, toolbox talks and maintaining records Liaising with clients, the public and key stakeholders ..... full job details .....
