Placements Officer – Children’s Services

Location: Wokingham (Hybrid Working)

Contract: 3 months with the view for extension 

Rate: £22.98 per hour paye

We are seeking an experienced Placements Officer to join our Children’s Services team in Wokingham on a hybrid working basis.

Key requirements:

• Previous experience in Children’s Social Care or equivalent
• Proven children’s brokerage experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure while remaining highly organised and proactive
• Skilled in multi-agency working, including with health services, voluntary and community sector, local councils, and the independent sector
• Professional approach to managing referrals from Social Workers, ensuring accurate information to secure suitable placements for children and young people
• Awareness of health and safety responsibilities relating to both self and children in care
