We''re currently seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team and help us create culinary masterpieces.Position Overview:As a Pizza Sous Chef at Alley Cat''s Pizzeria, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking our signature pizzas to perfection, as well as managing the daily operations of the kitchen. You''ll manage, mentor and train junior chefs, as well as complete administration tasks like team rotas, stock control, and wastage. We''re looking for someone with a strong background in team management and pizza making, as well a creative flair for helping to developing new and exciting recipes.If you''re a team player with a passion for food and a drive for excellence, then we want you to be part of our kitchen brigade!Responsibilities:Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standardsStretch and shape dough by hand to create a variety of pizza styles, including thin-crust and deep-dishOperate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyMonitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfectionCoordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilmentUphold Alley Cat''s Pizzeria''s standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation at all timesContribute ideas for new pizza flavours and seasonal specials to keep our menu fresh and excitingRequirements:Previous experience as a Pizza Sous Chef or Pizza Chef in a high-volume restaurant settingStrong knowledge of pizza dough, sauce, and topping combinations, as well as pizza oven operationCreative flair and passion for experimenting with flavours and ingredientsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staffFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as ..... full job details .....
