Pivot Steer Fork Driver

We are seeking a skilled Pivot Steer and Counterbalance fork lift truck driver to join out client''s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and storage of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Operate pivot steer and counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Move products within the warehouse using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for accurate tracking. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Assist in inventory management by accurately counting and recording stock levels. Perform basic maths calculations for inventory tracking and reporting purposes. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Valid forklift certification is required; additional certifications in materials handling are a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties.
