Job title: Piping EngineerJob Type: ContractStart date: ImmediateDuration: Up to Dec 2026 (Extension possible beyond this)Pay rate: Up to 375 PAYE / 505 Umbrella per dayLocation: Bridgwater, SomersetHours of work: 5 days per weekThe Piping Engineer will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of Mechanical and Piping Construction Work Packs, supporting construction activities within the nuclear industry. The role involves reviewing technical documentation, conducting constructability assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, defining work scopes, and ensuring compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and project requirements. The successful candidate will support installation planning, resolve technical issues, and drive the timely delivery of work packs to enable safe and efficient construction execution.Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).Experience delivering Mechanical and Piping Construction Work Packs.Background in highly regulated industries (nuclear preferred) or major infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of piping installation, constructability reviews, and construction methodologies.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Proficient in Navisworks and Microsoft Excel.Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving ..... full job details .....
